First International Theater Festival "Five Nights in Cyprus"

One of the most important festivals of the island, which is intended to strengthen more the ties of Cyprus and Russia, it will be held through theatre.

The 1st International Theater Festival "Five Nights in Cyprus", will be held in Nicosia from the 27th until the 31st of March 2017. The festival, which will include performances by theater groups from Russia and Cyprus, aims to expand the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture, while also enriching the artistic life of the island.

The grand opening will take place on March 27th, the World Theatre Day, at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Nicosia.

In addition to the performances the festival will include a variety of activities for professionals and amateurs: a round table discussion, master-classes by famous directors, meetings and an exhibition.

Festival organizers: Russian Centre of Science and Culture, with the support of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Cyprus in cooperation with the Russian theater in Cyprus "Ostrov" and the company "The magic world of theater."

All the performances starts at : 19:00

It's worth to mention that the representations will have subtitles in Greek.
