With Christmas on the way, all of us will be attending many family gatherings, at a friend’s house, restaurants etc. Almost all of them will include food and a lot of drinking so I thought, why not make it more interesting by playing a drinking game while you are at it!

This is my top 5 list of Christmas drinking games for you to enjoy :)

1. Christmas Stereotypes

Instructions:
This game is best played in large family gatherings and depends on the reactions of people not playing the game.
Everyone playing must choose a drink of his choice and have a shot for every rule applied. Everyone drinks together!

Rules:

Whenever someone sings a line of a Christmas song everyone takes a shot.
Whenever a bell rings from any kind of source (TV,Door etc.) everyone takes a sip.
Whenever a kid asks anything about Santa everyone takes a shot.
Whenever an uncle makes a bad Christmas joke everyone downs their drink.
Whenever the song by Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You is played everyone takes 3 sips from their drinks.
Whenever someone comments on the food everyone takes a sip.

2. Santa’s Hat

Instructions:
This game just needs a TV and a Santa’s hat.
Place the hat on the corner of the TV. Every time someone wears the hat, have a drink, the more people the better!

3. Merry and Happy Chris…I’m Drunk!!

Instructions:
You and your friends take a flask or anything comfortable to have your drink in and walk around, take a trip anywhere you want with a lot of people (The mall, Shops, Main Streets)

Rules

Whenever someone wishes Happy Christmas take a big sip.
Whenever someone wishes Happy Holidays take a big sip.

4. Santa Claus is coming HO HO HO!

Instructions:
All the players sit around in a circle and take turns closing their eyes. While their eyes are closed, the other players choose someone to shout out HO HO HO!
If the player with their eyes closed guesses the name of the one who shouted, he gets to choose two people to have a shot. If his guess is wrong, he drinks a shot!

5. Christmas Drunk Singers

Instructions:
One person starts singing his favorite Christmas song but stops after the first line, the person next to him has to continue with the second line and so on. The first one to stop singing or makes a mistake has a shot!
