Promoting learning and highlighting the evolution of Cypriot Art
In Cyprus there is a plethora of libraries to promote learning and research as well as several galleries that highlight the Cypriot culture through works of art and provide important information both for invaluable works of intellectual value and for their creators.

Apart from the libraries, Cyprus also maintains valuable galleries that highlight the evolution of Cypriot art.
The most important of these are the following:
State Art Gallery of Contemporary Art : It operates under the responsibility of the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture. It hosts a representative collection of works by Cypriot artists that highlights and documents the evolutionary course of Cypriot art from the early 20th century. The State Art Gallery is a unique site that gathers the most representative samples of the State Collection as well as information about their works and creators. It is worth mentioning that at the State Art Gallery, lectures, musical events, performances are organized from time to time.

Limassol Municipal Art Gallery: It has at its disposal one of the largest and richest collections of modern Cypriot art. It includes works that are very important for the history of art in our country, such as Adamantios Diamantis, Michael Cassialos, Telemachos Kanthou, Christoforos Savvas, Victor Ioannidis, Loukia Nikolaidou, Takis Fragoudis, Vassilis Vryonidis, Nikos Nikolaidis, John Corpitz, Andreas Ladomatos, Stella Michailidou, Andros Efstathiou, Spyros Dimitriadis etc. Today there are about 600 works of art in the Municipal Art Gallery covering a wide range of creation.

The Cultural Center of the Archbishop Makarios III: It is located in old Nicosia, in the courtyard of the cathedral of St. John the Theologian, next to the Archbishop's Palace.
