The Limassol Municipal Park and Zoo covers an area of 60,000 m2 and offers a pleasant and attractive environment with a wide variety of eucalyptus, pine and cypress vegetation. It is so shaped that guests feel an immediacy with the animals that live there.

The Limassol Zoo sets as its primary mission the research, protection, reproduction and release into the nature of the species in danger of extinction.

Additionally, organized lectures, guided tours and updates on animals, wildlife and, in general, fauna are offered to visitors. Visitors can also see remarkable and very attractive animals, birds and reptiles from all continents.

Animals housed in the Limassol Zoo reside in spaces that bring them as close as possible to their natural surroundings.

To inform the public about any species living in the zoo there are signs with all the necessary information about them.

Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to see organized animal feeds, from caregivers, to learn more about some species of animals.

For the recreation and relaxation of visitors to the zoo there is a unique and impressive café called "Flamingo" overlooking the sea, the green and the flamingos. The modern playground and the children's zoo offer beautiful and fun moments to our young friends.
