Nissi Beach

The beach with the golden sand

The beach named Nissi Beach is located 3.3 km west of the center of the popular tourist resort of Ayia Napa. It is probably the most famous beach of the island and you should definitely visit it.

It is a beach with a length of 600 meters and a width of 45 meters. It is awarded a Blue Flag and is flooded by a number of swimmers, foreigners and locals every year.

This beach is characterized by its golden sand and spreads over a natural bay with shallow and clear waters. It is part of the broader area of Nissi beach and is named after the small island that is nearby.

At the west you can see a small island, this island is joined by the sandy beach creating an unparalleled spectacle.

Near the beach of Nissi there are bars and recreation areas and offers to the visitor comfort such as lavatories, locker rooms, sea beds, umbrellas, water sports, bars, diving school and organized parties, while there are a variety of accommodation, restaurants and kiosks in the area.

During the summer months trained lifeguards with lifeguard equipment and first aid services are available on the beach.

Access to Nisi Beach is easy on foot, bicycle or car and there is parking available.
