A series of multidisciplinary workshops for children aiming at developing knowledge and experience!

Summer Kids University - Microcosm & Macrocosm

The trilogy for this year’s Kids University “BACK TO BASICS – bird’s eye-view of our world”, continues with the third part entitled - “Microcosm & Macrocosm” which will take place from 25th June to 6th July 2018 (limited space).

Through a series of participatory workshops for children between the ages of 6 - 12 years old, Kids University aims to promote the knowledge and experience that help to create strong personalities, creative and critical thinkers, with free will and confidence. The citizens of tomorrow with these characteristics can communicate, coexist harmoniously and can create a world that takes the humankind one step further.

The participants will have the opportunity to engage with unique workshops such as:

• Microscope and cells by Achilleas Kentonis
• Theatre by Marilena Kyriacou
• Creative Writing by Stavros Lambrakis
• Scenography by Marina Hadjilouca
• The body by Grigoris Minas
• Lighting and audio-visual technology by Andreas Petrou
• Science and space Cafe

For the 2018 trilogy, Kids University partners up with the Creative Europe Programme ARTECITYA 2014 – 2018, for a series of interdisciplinary children workshops.

From June 25^th to July 6^th, 2018, at the ARTos Cultural and Research Foundation, Ayioi Omologites - Nicosia, from 8:30 to 14:30 * (Children can be in ARTos from 7:30 and are employed creatively with the trainers).

Participation fee: € 240 (€180 for siblings)

The workshops will run simultaneously in both Greek and English.
