"Mantra tou Kampiou"

Family picnic site...

The picnic area "Mantra tou Kampiou", located on the road leading from the village Kapedes (5 km) to the monastery of Machairas, at 660 meters altitude.

The area is overgrown with pines and cedars and can accommodate 1,600 holidaymakers, who have at their disposal barbecues roofed, wooden benches with seats, drinking water, sanitary facilities and parking spaces. It also has all the facilities and pathways for people on wheelchairs.

In the field, the Department of Forests operates fire lookout station equipped with fire truck.
