The waterway of Ayia Phyla in winter
Kato Lakkos bridge
Like every winter the river of St. Phyla in Limassol passed again from our homes.
Rainwater accumulates in the streets of the village and from the surrounding areas and leads to the precipice passing afterwards from the bridge of Ayia Phyla resulting into the sea.
Before years ago the cliff were up to 2 meters deep and full of reeds. The river was close to 3 meters.
They performed works from the municipality, where the river was leveled, cleaned and took its current form.
