The menu is rich in Cypriot dishes such as ofto kleftiko, koupepia, afelia, meatballs, souvlaki and various other options. You will find delicious seafood options, as well as Mediterranean, European and Greek cuisine.

In fact, something unique to Raphael's Restaurant Tavern, it has several options of vegetarian dishes from Cypriot cuisine and gluten-free dishes.

We started with salad, halloumi, olives and dips and our main courses included a variety of meats: souvlaki, sieftalies, pork chops, pork pancetta, basturma sausage and halloumi. And because we are foodies, we ordered extra portions of Dolmades (stuffed vine leaves), meatballs and an extra portion of chicken.

Next time we visit, we would like to try some of the steaks and seafood dishes as the aromas from the table next to us was captivating. 

And because we can't leave without trying their desserts, we ordered the sweet of the day. It was just what we needed to end our visit nicely.

Vegan and Gluten-Free Options Galore!

During a chat with the owner of Raphael's Restaurant Tavern, we discovered that it’s one of the few restaurants in Cyprus celebrated for its exceptional vegan and gluten-free options.

The menu features a variety of dishes, including vegetarian souvlaki, ensuring everyone can savour their meal in a delightful and welcoming atmosphere.

Raphael's Restaurant Tavern has also earned a spot on popular platforms like HappyCow (for vegetarian-friendly dining) and FindMeGlutenFree (highlighting gluten-free options), solidifying its reputation as a go-to destination for inclusive dining.

At Raphael's Restaurant Tavern we enjoyed delicious dishes that include all of the aromas of Cyprus and take you on a journey into traditional Cypriot homes and Sunday dinners, with a friendly service in a welcoming environment.

We have been very pleased with the food we tried and the service. As mentioned above, we rang the bell on our way out and will definitely be visiting again!
