Cyprus Alive spoke with Mr. Demos Georgiou, owner of Neldi Art Gallery Read the interview below to learn more about this wonderful store.

1. Mr. Demos, when was your store founded?
Neldi Art first started with a little stall at the seafront at Paphos Harbor in 2007. After many years of hard work and a lot of patience we opened our first shop in 2015 and last year (2023) we were very happy to open our brand new shop, Artesanato.

2. Where is your store located?
You will find Neldi Art Gallery in Kato Pafos 3 Poseidonos Avenue, Shop 38. Also we have one more store that has similar art products. Artesanato by Neldi Art Gallery is a small shop at the harbour of Kato Pafos with a big variety of handmade gifts for everyone. It worth's paying a visit if you are looking for something special and unique.

3. What products does your shops offer?

You will find original and beautiful pieces of art, unlike almost anything else you're likely to find. We offer a variety of custom-made arts such as: Artworks, Hand-painted, Ceramic, Kitchenware, Decoration, Wall decors, Puppet dolls, Handmade jewellery and personalised handmade gifts.

4. What makes your store stand out and different from others?

At Neldi local timber from Troodos mountains is used with sustainable methods and eco-friendly materials and paints to create beautiful art work.
Most of the timber is actually trees that were burned during wild fires in the summer and with their art they are giving these pieces of wood a second home.
Bring your own new idea, and let us create a unique wooden plaque which will decorate your House, Office, Man Cave or She She.

5. Any future plans?
To continue our history, further enriching our collection and we want to continue to provide our customers with Handmade wood creations, Jewellery ideal for customisation and great Gifts made in Cyprus!
