The Platanistasa village in Pitsilia region invites everyone to its famous and unique Hazel trees festival.

Programme

-11:00 Walking in the hazelnuts forest

-11:00 Demonstration of traditional professions

-11:30 Traditional music and songs

Tour walking in the village

From 10.30am-1.00 pm and from 4.30am-7.30pm you can visit:

-Church of Stavros tou Agiasmati is a Unesco World Heritage Site

-The churches of the community will remain open to the public throughout the event

-The Folk art Museum will remain open to the public throughout the event

-The old traditional houses of the village will remain open to the public throughout the event

-Exhibition of traditional hazelnuts products and other traditional products of the village

-During the event, there will be kiosks with food and drink

-During the festival all the visitors can taste Hazelnuts and ‘’Zivania” for free.
