The Holy Temple of Saint Ephraim

Saint Ambrosios Limassol

The Church of Saint Ephraim is located in the village of Agios Ambrosios in the province of Limassol.

It is a church built in the style of a cruciform basilica with a dome, with a capacity of about 400 people.

The wood-carved iconostasis is a copy of an older iconostasis from the 18th century. The construction of the church began in 2004 and was completed in 2006.

The Holy Temple of Saint Ephraim celebrates on May 5, the day of remembrance of Saint Ephraim, and on January 3, the day of the finding of his Relics.

The church also keeps a fragment of the Holy Relic of Saint Ephraim the Great Martyr, which is exposed for worship on weekends.
