Enaerios Pier
Limassol
Enaerios pier has become a point of reference in Limassol, a historical monument even. It was originally built for the transfer of asbestos from the Amiandos mine of Troodos. The transfer was done with aerial wagons for packing and loading into barges for transport in ships. It was built in the early 20th century and it was restored in 1995. Today it is a meeting point for swimmers and fishermen and it is ideal for romantic walks. Also in the surrounding area of Enaerios, there are many recreational areas, dining and several hotels, while in the nearby parking lot many cultural events are organized.
