The Cyprus Alive team spoke with Mr. Andreas Theocharous, the owner of Kissos Tavern in the tourist area of Agios Tychonas, to learn more about the history and philosophy of this beloved tavern that has captured the hearts of both locals and tourists.
"Kissos Tavern started in 1984 as a family café. However, due to the love and support of the community, we quickly transformed into a restaurant, and by 1988, we established ourselves as a tavern. Since then, we have remained true to authentic Cypriot cuisine and fresh fish, which we continue to offer to this day."
"Our tavern is located in the tourist area of Agios Tychonas in Limassol, a very lively and popular area, perfect for enjoying a good meal."
"What makes our tavern unique is the special atmosphere. We have a beautiful courtyard with climbing plants and tall ficus trees, creating a fairytale-like setting. The aquarium and our parrot, Charlie, add even more character and make our visitors feel right at home."
