From the moment we stepped through the doors of The Lodge in Pafos, we knew our evening would be special.

The restaurant’s atmosphere won us over instantly - a blend of warmth, elegance, and an aesthetic that whisked us away to an exotic setting.

An explosion of flavours on our plate

The menu was rich and full of tempting options. Choosing was no easy task, but in the end, we went for the Sirloin Ribeye Fillet, the Fish Steak Transkei, and the Mushroom Lovers Steak. When the dishes arrived at our table, the presentation and aromas heightened our anticipation.

The Sirloin Ribeye Fillet and Mushroom Lovers Steak were perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavour, while their accompanying sauces added a juicy touch. The Fish Steak Transkei, on the other hand, was incredibly fresh and masterfully prepared...it truly impressed us!

To complement our meal, we selected authentic African-inspired sauces: Monkey Gland and Piri Piri. These enhanced the flavours even more, making every bite an absolute delight.

At the table next to us, another group had ordered the signature dish, Tigers Eye, paired with the African wine Arabella. After chatting with them, they told us it was one of the best meals they had ever had. We instantly regretted not ordering it ourselves, but next time, it will be at the top of our list!

The restaurant's decor had a distinctive aesthetic, inspired by African culture. Combined with dim lighting and carefully chosen music, it created the perfect ambience for a truly immersive dining experience.
